DKT WomanCare Global, in collaboration with DKT Sierra Leone and the Ministry of Health Sierra Leone, is excited to announce the first of several Levoplant™ contraceptive implant refresher training sessions!
During October 28-31, 2024, 30 dedicated healthcare providers will attend a comprehensive training program in Kenema (Eastern Province) to enhance their skills in Levoplant™ insertion techniques. This four-day training program aims to support these professionals in providing quality reproductive health services across Sierra Leone.
Levoplant™, also affectionately known as “”Captain Band,”” has gained popularity among Sierra Leonean women, who proudly show their “Captain Band” as a symbol of empowerment. Together, we’re working to expand access to reproductive healthcare and strengthen the network of trained professionals in the region.
