Category: Contraception

DKT WomanCare Global, in partnership with DKT Kenya, DKT International – East Africa and the Ministry of Health, Kenya (MOH), kicked off a series of trainings across Nairobi, Kiambu, and Machakos counties to enhance the skills of 100 healthcare providers on Levoplant™ contraceptive implants. These sessions, led by the Department of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), will strengthen healthcare providers’ capacity to offer high-quality implant insertion and removal services in public sector facilities.

Levoplant™ implants have been widely used in Kenya for the past 6 years, and DKT International and DKT WomanCare Global remain committed to supporting continued access to high-quality, affordable contraceptive methods.
